COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Mann is in favor of individuals taking precautions against the coronavirus, but encourages a wide reopening of economic activity. He said he is "skeptical" of passing any additional COVID-19 aid that he considers a “blue state bailout,” citing the size of the federal debt. He wants to ensure that the CARES Act does not unduly burden health care providers and hospitals with arduent federal accounting requirements.

HEALTH COVERAGE

Mann says he "rejects" the ACA and endorses a free market approach to health insurance. He wants to strengthen Medicare funding and stated in an interview that, "...due to Obamacare's financial ramifications, [Medicare] has been robbed of roughly $800 billion in the ten years since the law has passed." He supports coverage for pre-existing conditions and expanding use of health savings accounts. He wants insurance companies to compete across state lines and have total cost transparency.
